Web Design and Publishing Expertise

Skilled with Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, BBEdit, MS Visual Studio, and Dreamweaver Ultradev, as tools with which to bring ideas and function to the web. Familiar with Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) and IIS, as well as Apache in a Linux environment. Able to hand code and edit HTML, CSS, Javascript. Web development projects have involved audience/user identification, planning and organizing sites and site navigation in cooperation with clients and other content providers, building graphics and html templates, and site maintenance.   • 6/2000 to 3/2001: Web designer for HireRocket.com, an online recruiting and employemnt site, as well as some peripheral sites for related technologies. Responsible for various aspects of user interface design, from gathering direction from internal and external clients to building graphics, formatting templates and fully implementing design specifications.
  • 8/1996 to Present: Self employed consultant, building entire sites for a variety of small business clients in real estate, manufacturing and recruiting.
  • Through 1999: Seasoned project manager in residential construction. Extensive experience managing all aspects of projects, including planning and budgeting, team building, creative problem solving, conflict resolution, and delivering projects (up to $1M). Strong business knowledge and savvy, demonstrated excellence dealing with various stakeholders, including clients, architects and designers, subcontractors, employees, public agencies, developers, attorneys.
